ini files can cause problems a bit like this, as my understanding is that it stops archive invalidation happening. The textures that are loading, are they from the same packs that aren't?

Honestly, I don't really like EWI's textures anyway, and I think that when you see some of the other texture mods that retexture the same things, you'll see why, which is why I hope it's no great loss when I tell you that for now, at least whilst having problems, it were best if you use only what's on the Nexus, as they tend to give good instructions or at least follow a standard procedure.ДЄre you saying you had EWI's textures in from a clean install and they worked, but if all you did was disable them and reГ«nable them, they wouldn't work? I have a feeling this could be due to permissions preventing me from overwriting, stemming from the fact that I can only delete the steam folder in safe mode, but this still doesn't explain why I have no issues on clean install. I backed it up so its a case of uninstalling the core game, deleting the remaining mod files in the game folder (which I can only do in safe mode for some reason) and then reinstalling to start over. I then uninstalled and removed EWI's from NMM completely and attempted to use NMCs, but there is now a problem loading them so I can't even do that.Д«y Clean Install I mean deleting and reinstalling the entire game and nexus mod manager. But loading your old save once it's all installed again, are you saying you don't see the same modded textures as on a new game? How many times have you tested any of this? Is it absolutely certainly only textures for these mods, and definitely not new meshes or other stuff? Some more complex mods require you to be away from the relevant area for a bit, usually three in-game days. If not, which texture mods aren't working? All of them or just some? How were they installed? Not every mod installs correctly in NMM, whether or not the mod author remembered to remove the button. Second, now I don't know is this outdated or was it never needed, but I often see it recommended that when toggling archive invalidation, you open your mod manager, turn it off, quit the mod manager, open it again, and turn archive invalidation back on. There are two in your FalloutNV folder (Fallout.ini and FalloutPrefs.ini) and one in your Fallout New Vegas folder (Fallout_Default.ini). Your mod manager can't edit them otherwise (I've read).
